Our Story

Six fabulous friends founded Canvas Vineyards.

In 2001 six fabulous friends founded Canvas Vineyards. All are artists at heart who had traveled the world, together and individually, were inspired to paint what they saw as they gathered together for weekend dinners.  These works of arts were painted on canvas and with all great salon dinners, an idea was born!  Why not place original works of art on wine labels!  “Not only does one get the art of wine but also original art!” ​

Soon, these artist were not only painting their own art and placing on the bottles of wine, but they were also commissioned to paint and collage labels for special occasions.   

Occasions included:  the purchase of a home in Pebble Beach, California; completion of a marathon; a move to Asia; college graduation.
